HARRIS TWEED - Why is it unique?
Harris Tweed is handwoven by the islanders of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra in their homes. It is made from 100% pure wool, dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides. Only after it has met with all the necessary regulations, can it be stamped with the famous Orb Mark - a truly premium cloth, it has been the choice of top designers all over the world.
